Sanford Sexhus Named Regional Vice President, North Region

Sanford Sexhus, presently general manager, Powder River Division, is appointed regional vice president for the North Region.

Sexhus began his career with BNSF in 1994 and progressed through increasingly responsible positions including trainmaster; superintendent; assistant vice president, Unit Train Operations; and general manager of the Powder River Division. A replacement for Sexhus will be appointed in the near future. 

“Sam’s leadership as general manager of the Powder River Division has helped us grow this important area of our business. We look forward to his continued contributions on the North Region and wish his family well as they relocate to Fort Worth,” said Greg Fox, vice president, Transportation.
